What We Do and Don’t Do – Private Nursing in Roswell, Nm
What we can do
- Services personally delivered by New Mexico‑licensed nurses (RN and LPN owners).
- Nursing assessment, planning, interventions, and evaluation consistent with the New Mexico Nursing Practice Act and each nurse’s scope of practice.
- Collaboration with your existing physicians and health care team; skilled procedures are performed under appropriate medical orders when required.
- Care is scheduled in advance and provided on a non‑emergency basis.
What we don't do
- Do not operate as a licensed home health agency or Medicaid private duty nursing agency, and do not bill Medicare or Medicaid as an agency.
- Do not provide 24‑hour staffing or send multiple nurses or caregivers; any additional non‑nursing helpers are hired directly by the family.
- Do not prescribe medications or diagnose medical conditions; all diagnosis and prescribing remain with your licensed medical providers.
- Do not guarantee visit availability at all times; visit schedules are mutually agreed upon in advance.
